I’m almost there:
Tuesday was election day. I wore the worst shoes, and because I walked a lot, my legs are sore AF. Ouch! Funny…. The more and more anyone commented with expectation to see me crash, or tire that day, 😀 or lose my voice, the harder I pushed. Why? Because It’s not about one’s “Capabilities” that make them who they are, but sheer utter will.
The level of our Inner strength impacts our character. #StuffRareSays
As I laid down with Baby Blue for her nap, I found myself smirking:
My thoughtful reflection began, as I stared at that precious little cutie with dazzling gold locks, and blue eyes that make you see the stars. During and after having four natural births, the nurses (All new faces each time.) commented, “You make it look easy.” I also heard the same comment recently and that is why I found it Humorous. (See: “The Light At The End Of The Tunnel.” )
The thing is: Maybe it isn’t the endurance but rather the mentality carried during it, that fuels our fury. #StuffRareSays
From it all, I’m still in a daze. I didn’t get elected, but I’m grateful because I’ve made my impact.
GUYS!! Let me just say, I experienced many haters throughout my campaign. Oh boy! The insults I heard, the behavior I saw, and much more was astounding. Especially from followers of candidates I’d considered friends. Ruthless.
Life lesson #4: Treat people the way you want to be treated. You never know when the tables will be turned.
And so….. ponder that until the next one.
